Atalaya Castle Wedding | Mr and Mrs Rohrbach

Huntington Beach probably isn't where you would expect to attend a wedding in a castle. But, tucked away, just out of view from the beach, is where Julia and Stephan planned their Atalaya Castle wedding. Sprinkled with palm trees and stone walls, this hidden gem made for the perfect location for these two to promise their forever!

Pro tip - Have a Rain Plan!

I'd bet actual dollars no couple ever hopes for rain on their wedding day. But sometimes making the best of a situation turns out to be even sweeter than expected. And, having a backup tent just in case is always a good idea, friend. Thankfully Atalaya Castle has a pretty spectacular, covered first look and portrait location! They chose their colors (shades of blush, terracotta, and blue) carefully, which paired beautifully with the natural environment of the castle.

Julia and Stephen made each of these pressed flower coasters by hand for their guests.

A huge shoutout to Jackie Fogartie, who kept things moving smoothly throughout the day! There are so many moving parts that go into creating such a magical day. So, putting together a great team of vendors is huge!

Stephan and Julia took special care to be extra intentional about their lounge seating. They chose the perfect shade of emerald green for this sofa to pull in the colors from the beautiful Atalaya Castle venue.

Julia and Stephen planned a surprise for their wedding guests during the reception - Gelato! And they made it even more special by naming the flavors after their grandparents!
