Spring Wedding at The Lace House

Brooke and Austin tied the knot on May 14th, just as the spring heat set in. Their gorgeous Lace House wedding was full of beautiful details and a more beautiful love story!

Austin and Brooke have known each other their entire lives and grew up in the same community. After a blossoming friendship, they became a couple in the summer of 2009 when they were barely middle schoolers. These high school sweethearts finally made things official over ten years later with a party their friends and family won't soon forget.

They started things off with all of their favorite people, getting ready like any couple on the day of their wedding. After the dress's final zip and cufflink adjustment, they met to exchange vows privately. I loved this special touch and that they had a moment to be alone before all of the festivities - with the addition of their sweet pup Jett, of course. Brooke also had a first look with her stepdad and dad. I loved how silly she and her dad were together. Some weddings can be a bit stuffy, but I'm thrilled that I'm blessed with some of the most fun couples, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

This day has been years in the making, and every detail was just beautiful. I was blown away by the florals from By Design and all of the special touches Brooke made sure to add. The misty blue bridesmaid dresses were perfect for a spring wedding and were stunning on everyone.

The china on the head table was Brooke's mom's china from when she married her dad. I can't think of a more beautiful gift. Unless, of course, you count her stunning new earrings from her mom and stepdad that will now be one of her first heirlooms. Brooke's bracelet was also a family treasure, belonging to her paternal grandmother.

And, of course, no wedding day would be complete without a proper getaway! These two made their final exit through sparklers into the cab of a gorgeous 1964 Chevrolet convertible. A noteworthy exit for sure!

I hope you love getting a peak into this sweet couple's special day as much as I loved being there! Be sure to make it to the end to check out the fabulous team that brought it all together!
